Healing for Holly Daye

Dear Tina,
I’m tired of stressing about the holidays!  With all the pressure of finding the perfect gift for everyone, I always lose the joy of giving.  I want to give meaningful gifts that are unique to the person, but am always at a loss of what to do.  I know that everyone could use a little (or a lot of) healing.  What types of healing gifts are appropriate to give to someone.
— Healing Holly Daye

Dear Holly Daye,
Ooh, this is a fun question!  First of all, when it comes to healing gifts, the most important piece of the decision is tuning into the receiver.  You may have ideas of what they need or opinions about their journey, however your choices are not necessarily what will work for their personal energy.  To tune in, think of the person.  Picture their face or imagine their voice speaking.  Then hold in your hand what you are thinking of gifting them and watch, hear or sense the reaction you receive intuitively.  You will be surprised at the answers you get sometimes.  Always trust your intuition!

Focused Father: An energetic look at ADHD

Dear Tina,
My son is going into the 7th grade this year, and has just been diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.)  We are looking into medication, but I’m wondering if there is anything he can do to manage and focus his energy in a different way.  I know what a truly bright kid he is, and I don’t want to see him fall behind any more than he already has.
— Focused Father

Dear Focused Father,
Children and adults diagnosed with ADD or ADHD have no doubt had a tough road.  There are many ways to assist in their healing through traditional and alternative therapies.  There are many bodyworks and healers that disagree with the use of medication.  I don’t have a problem with it when properly diagnosed and used correctly, but don’t stop there.  Medication can bring a person to a more stable state in order to continue treatment.  This is where energy work can be highly successful.

Weeping Widow

Dear Tina,
I lost my precious cat to cancer over a year ago, and I still can’t move on.  I cry almost every night thinking of her.  I am nauseous and sometimes feel pain in my stomach – ironically where her cancer originated.  We were so close, but I feel like I should be at a place where it doesn’t affect me this much by now.  Why can’t I let her go?
— Weeping Widow

Dear Weeping Widow,
First of all, I am so sorry for your loss.  I’m very attached to my cats as well, so I can only imagine your grief.  There are a few reasons that you may not be able to move on, however the most likely reason is that you two are most likely connected by an energy cord.

Pained by Pain

Dear Tina,
I’ve struggled with chronic pain in my joints since I was twelve years old, and I haven’t gotten a clear answer as to why even though I’ve seen a variety of doctors over the years.  Could there be an energetic reason for this pain? Is there something I can do to find relief?
— Pained by Pain

Dear Pained,
Oh, I’m sorry.  Yes.  And Yes!  Let’s start from the beginning.  The source of your pain is absolutely an energetic problem because everything is made from energy.  Yes, I said it – everything.  Whether the cause of the joint pain is due to a physical degeneration or an emotional issue you are holding onto, it is all energy.  Now, energy cannot be created or destroyed it can only change forms.  This is a scientific fact not a bunch of metaphysical mumbo jumbo.

Longing to be Loved

Dear Tina,
I have often felt so passionate and intensely connected to a person only to have the relationship fail dramatically. I yearn for a loving, emotional and connected relationship and instead I get intense sexual relationships that aren’t fulfilling in the long run.
- Longing to be Loved

Dear Longing to be Loved,
It sounds like you are finding yourself connected to numerous Cosmic Soul relationships.  Cosmic relationships are very passionate and sexually intense, but usually don’t last after the energy shifts to an emotional level. This type of relationship isn’t as destructive as it sounds, though.

Searching for Some Soul [Mates]

Dear Tina,
Do soul mates exist? If so, how can I find mine?
-Searching for Some Soul

Dear Searching for Some Soul,
Soul mates do absolutely exist, although not necessarily in the same way popular culture portrays them. A soul mate is simply a soul that shares a similar spiritual harmonic, has had prior soul experiences or shares similar spiritual goals with your soul.

Village Keeper

Dear Tina,
My healer has told me that I have a "whole village" of guides.  This sounds exciting, but what could it mean?   I mentioned something funny about the guides disagreeing with each other, but I gathered that the general idea is, no, they don't work like that.  Any insights on guides?
— Village Keeper

Dear Village Keeper,
That is exciting!  There are two ways to understand what your healer meant – the believer way and the non-believer way.  If you are a believer of the spiritual realm and have maybe experienced first hand what that means, you can really peer into the multitude of help that is out there for each of us.  Guides, Angels, Archangels, Fairies, the list goes on and on.
