Village Keeper

Dear Tina,

My healer has told me that I have a "whole village" of guides.  This sounds exciting, but what could it mean?   I mentioned something funny about the guides disagreeing with each other, but I gathered that the general idea is, no, they don't work like that.  Any insights on guides?

Dear Village Keeper,

That is exciting!  There are two ways to understand what your healer meant – the believer way and the non-believer way.  If you are a believer of the spiritual realm and have maybe experienced first hand what that means, you can really peer into the multitude of help that is out there for each of us.  Guides, Angels, Archangels, Fairies, the list goes on and on. 

All of these beings live in the spiritual realm, their energy moves faster than the speed of light and therefore cannot typically be sensed with our five senses unless you have strongly developed intuitive abilities.  Nevertheless, they are still available to us for help, guidance, support, healing and unconditional love.  They currently do not have physical bodies, although some have before. Typically each of us has two Guides, one that has had a body before and one that has only lived in the spiritual realm.  These guides are specifically match up with you to help support you in your life purpose.

In addition to Guides, you may have Angels and Fairies connected to you as well as deceased relatives in the mix.  As you know with any group of people in the physical realm, opinions may vary  !  I don’t think it’s absurd to think that they may not agree with each other sometimes.  In general, they are all connected to us with good intentions, for support and healing.  Their mission is the same, but the way they get there may be different.  The most important thing to remember is that just because a being lives in the spiritual realm, it does not make them more knowledgeable than you, especially when it comes to deceased friends and family.  Take all advice and support into consideration and, then make your own decision.

If you are a skeptic and don’t buy into the spiritual realm, no problem.  A guide can be looked at as a part of yourself that remembers and holds information that you may have forgotten.  The information can come to you through your inner voice, sudden insight and any other intuitive ability.  Just like with guides, there may be parts of yourself that due to a variety of experiences, may disagree.  Become the neutral party when there is a battle in your head, take all advice into consideration and then make the decision.
